For City of Greensburg Fire Headquarters / Larry D. Filler Station No. 1

01 Challenge

In September 2022, the Greensburg Fire Department faced the urgent need to relocate and construct a new Fire Station No. 1 due to the obsolescence of the existing facility. The City required a comprehensive project management approach to coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure the new station met the growing community’s safety needs.

02 Solution

Veridus Advisors was selected to provide project management and owner’s representation services, fostering strong relationships with design and construction teams. Utilizing the Public-Private Agreement IC5-23 delivery method, Veridus Advisors proposed combining the fire station and public works facility into a single project to achieve cost savings. Construction commenced in May 2023, with DLZ as the architect, and significant milestones were achieved on schedule.
