Highland Golf and Country Club

Our Simplified Process

For Highland Golf and Country Club

01 Challenge

Highland Golf and Country Club sought to enhance its facilities while fostering a long-term partnership with Butler University’s golf programs. The goal was to create a golf academy that would meet the needs of club members, Butler’s student-athletes, and the broader community, while also upgrading the club’s existing clubhouse and pool. The challenge was to deliver a facility that balanced cutting-edge technology with an inviting environment, all within a $1.6 million budget.

02 Solution

Veridus Advisors partnered with Highland Golf and Country Club as their Owner’s Representative, overseeing the design and construction of the new Highland Golf Academy. The 9,200-square-foot facility includes top-tier features such as five Trackman-equipped hitting bays, two golf simulators, a 3,000-square-foot indoor putting and chipping area, and additional amenities like a full bar, lounge, and conference space. The project was funded through a partnership between the Highland Golf Academy Foundation and Butler University, solidifying a 30-year agreement for Highland to serve as the home course for Butler’s men’s and women’s golf teams.

03 Results

The Highland Golf Academy opened in Spring 2018 as an indoor golf facility that rivals top NCAA Division I programs. The facility provides Butler’s student-athletes with year-round access to premier training resources and enhances the member experience at Highland. Partnerships with First Tee of Indiana and PGA HOPE have expanded access to young golfers and veterans, further strengthening the club’s community impact. The project also successfully incorporated upgrades to the clubhouse and pool.
