Our Simplified Process
For Margaret Mary Health
01 Challenge
Margaret Mary Health (MMH) recognized the need to expand and modernize its healthcare services to meet the growing demands of the southern Indiana community. With an aging healthcare infrastructure and rising expectations for patient care, MMH sought to enhance its capabilities while maintaining its commitment to community wellness. The project required the development of a 124,000-square-foot hospital on a 23-acre site, featuring expanded surgical services, improved patient privacy, advanced technology, and community-focused amenities such as walking trails and green spaces.
02 Solution
To ensure the success of this transformative project, MMH enlisted Veridus Advisors as the Owner’s Representative, overseeing the design and construction process through the Construction Manager at Risk (CMr) delivery method. Structural work commenced in late Summer 2024, led by Cincinnati-based Danis, with architectural expertise provided by GBBN. The project design integrates modern healthcare technology with a patient-centric layout, enabling easier navigation and enhanced privacy.
03 Results
The new MMH facility is on track to be completed by early 2026, with patient care beginning in late summer of the same year. The hospital will not only address the immediate healthcare needs of the region, but also position MMH as a leader in rural healthcare delivery. The project is expected to employ 400 individuals, boosting the local economy and attracting top medical talent to the area. By combining advanced technology, expanded capabilities, and a focus on wellness, the new facility will enhance patient experiences and foster a healthier community.
